We adore Jan Sochor - He’s one of our favorite photographers out there!… He always tells powerful real life global stories through the images he captures. The following is from one of his latest collection called HARAGA, the story attached is as follows:

Every day tens of Moroccan men try to cross the Strait of Gibraltar illegally into Europe. They are called HARAGA (*meaning immigrant in Arabic).

They come to Tanger from all over Morocco, fuelled by dreams of reaching the West, so they too can grow fat, shop in a boring supermarkets, work all hours of the day, use computer games to entertain themselves and endlessly socialize in bars and worry about diet plans!

We are all for sampling local wine whilst traveling – infact we think of it as a requirement!… another way of sensing the local culture, and like food, its a way of understanding the tradition of that community through our tastebuds.
